Hello!

Welcome, welcome. I decided to create this blog after a mild enlightenment that (1) I love food-related games and food-related films; and I want to write about that, and (2) posts about the previous statement wouldn't be relevant on my melodramatic poetic blog.

Still figuring out how to modify this theme (my skills are dulled, ok) so in the meantime please bear with this boring-other-blog theme.

Fangirling

(no guys, the title isn't a typo of fan grilling.)
Out of many things I want to say here, let's start with this; I was a devoted fan-girl. Some parts of me still am, but not as devoted as I used to be. My junior-high hobbies include watching many Japanese doramas, listening to Japanese songs, following many anime, and of course, drooling at handsome Japanese actors.
(if you're not fond to Japanese fangirl thing, there's a chance you won't understand this post.)

1. Prince of Tennis
Prince of Tennis live-action. Yep the right guy is a half-blood, his name is Shirota Yu.

Personally I don't like the live-action storyline; which is Seigaku vs Hyotei. But I laugh when I see the cast.
I also loved the techniques the used, it looks super unreal but super cool -_-
Kaidou - Momo - Kikumaru - Tezuka - Ryoma - Oishi - Fuji - Taka-san - Inui
And compare them to the original anime:
Taka-san - Kaidou - Tezuka - Kikumaru - Fuji - Ryoma - Momo - Oishi - Inui

My first thought: WHY IS INUI SHORT!? He's supposed to be the tallest one on anime version, but why is he the second-shortest on the live action?!
And my second thought: Wow Taka-san looks more handsome than in the anime version :o
Third thought: WOW Tezuka is as cool as I imagined!
Fourth thought: Why is Momo's hair look different?
Fifth thought: Oh, Oishi's hair is different too. (It'd be ridiculous if he has an egg-shaped hair in live-action, anyway.)

And if you think the actor of Ryoma Echizen is just a kid, well, look closer.
He's a cool baby-faced boy. And he's a 1990 born, and since this movie is in 2006, at the time he became Ryoma, he's already 16. He's name is Kanata Hongo. Keep his name on mind, because I'll mention his name again.

2. NANA
NANA live-action

Anyway, see the gray-haired punk, the one with white blouse and red trouser? (and look at his platform boots!)
Yep, it's Kanata Hongo. He's so cute I felt like I'm adoring a little boy /straight-face.
His face is so cute I felt like he's too young to drink beers (actually he's old enough, though) and yes, the bald guy on the left is a cool character on Nana /laugh.

3. Hana Yori Dango
The original Hana Yori Dango story; no name changing, no plot exaggerating. I hate it when people like HanaDan because of the Korean version. I mean... it's too mainstream, guys.
And Hanazawa Rui (the brown haired) is played by Shun Oguri, my first-ever Japanese actor crush! I remembered how hurt I am seeing his kissing-with-some-naughty-girls-in-bar scene. My chest was like, hurt and crunched to bits. Sorry for being hyperbolic.
He's nearly 30 now, but when HanaDan trended, he was younger and so handsome (he still is, though. Haha) and I remember how deep I fell in love with this guy. I had him in my dreams and he was the star of my stories... I was pretty much addicted.
And I would chose him a hundred times over the Korean version of Rui.

In HanaDan, the story remains based on the manga. The characters' hairs and appearance is like the manga version. Hanazawa Rui wouldn't wear black, even though all the F4 member wear black. He would sticks with white and grays. Mimasaka Akira won't be driving cars; he would ride his motorbike and looks a lot like a town casanova.
I don't get it why Chinese and Korean dramas are often based on Japanese manga, but they changed the story-line and they become more popular than the Japanese adaptation themself. Isn't it unfair?

4. Hanazakarino Kimi Tachi e
Taiwan also made an adaptation of this series, but I prefer the Japanese one. The boys are waaaay cuter!

Okay, I know there's a lot of boys, but pay attention to these boys:
1. The one below the blond guy; which is actually a girl.
2. The guy on the right of guy the number (1) is Shun Oguri.
3. The guy on the left of guy number (1) is Yamamoto Yusuke.
4. The guy below the guy number (1) is Hiro Mizushima.
5. The guy on  the south-east of guy number (2) is Shirota Yu.

I knew they look stupid but bear with me for a second...
They are actually good-looking :3

 5. Tokyo DOGS
Here goes a dorama starring both Shun Oguri and Hiro Mizushima as the main characters. I hate Hiro's hairstyle but he's still good-looking at heart.
And I got to see Shun kicks some ass! (sorry for the language, I'.m overly excited)
I love this dorama, and was fangirling all over while watching... they're hilarious! I forgot the character Shun played, but the when character's mom kept calling him when he's about to kick some ass is just so funny!

Anyway, as much as I wanted to write down everything I love here, I will have to break this post into some parts.
Recently after a fangirling talk with Sheryl, I found myself wanting to watch doramas again!
Yamamoto Yusuke, for example. When I watch HanaKimi few years ago, he was just a supporting character and has only few main appearance. But now he's so famous and he played in many doramas! As a fangirl I'm proud of him!

Just fyi, I will always love Shun Oguri. Even when he grows older and that he's married now. (and Kanata Hongo because he's too cute!)
See you in part II, maybe?
