Touch of gold

Hey there. I'm once again in a mood for blogging! (cheers.)
I've been planning to blog a little more regularly but few days ago the wi-fi connection on my dormitory died so I was kinda disconnected from the world, well yeah.
So. Lately I've been having a lot cups of coffee lately, and I love this Liberica Coffee because they have nice coffee and because the barista drew a heart on my latte♥


THE FEW-MONTHS-AGOs
Let's start by showing off the things Sany and I bought the last time I went to Daiso.

[1] I bought a floral-patterned tosca gift box for no reason. Tosca are my favorite color, and yeah I happened to like a feminine floral pattern too. It was supposed to be a chocolate gift box (for Valentine's day, I guess) but now I use it as my jewelry box.
[2] Sany bought that super kawai pink slipper. That pink ribbon! That floral pattern! (*__*)

[3] We bought this earphone holder together; I took the chocolate one and Sany the pink one. Honestly I bought it just because the doughnut looked so cute. In the end, it can't properly hold my earphone, unfortunately.
[4] I found some cute phone deco, but didn't buy any because I think my phone would be too precious for my risky-cutesy-experiment.

And my 2012 Christmas gifts...
[1] It was actually a snow globe from Ingrid. It was, until I accidentally dropped it. And felt terrible after that. Anyway the teddy bears are way too cute so I decided to put it as a decoration.
[2] It's not a xmas gift. It's a friendship bracelet from Lydia. But since I haven't have any gift exchange with Lydia; let this bracelet be here.

[3] The pink container is my gift for Sheryl, and the cup is Sany's gift to us. It's Sheryl's, but mine looked similar to that. Image taken from Sheryl's blog.

[4] My original gift for Sany, and

[5] Are gifts for Sany from Sheryl and I, because Sany said she wanted a metal chopstick (and she loves cats!)

Bought a tosca case for my phone (right one) while Sheryl bought a super cute My Melody case. Which was two months ago, I think. The case has worn out now (-___-)

THE THIS-MONTHs

I ordered a Korean nail polish and it has arrived. It costs about $9 for a set (which I ordered both sets, but one is out-of-stock). Kinda proud because it was a limited collection product.

And did some experimetal swatches...

Decided to do a manual ombre nails, and it turned out pretty good. The right ones are only pure pink (which was titled Rococo Pink, by the way) but I like the tiny gold shimmer on it (which was invisible to see from the image above.)

I'm ending this post with a screenshot of my February playlist.

Yes, they are Korean songs. They're ballad songs, mostly are songs from a movie/drama. I probably will post something about this current addiction. Probably, okay?

Ingrid's Glam Birthday

First of all, happy birthday Ingrid!

Her birthday is on July 17th and it was Sunday, so at Sunday noon I went printing the photo for her party with Ingrid. I took the photo the previous day:

I personally think it's quite nice since I took it with a digital camera. Not so bad for a digital camera, eh?

I didn't took much pictures, and there's a problem with my memory card so now I have no photos!

Shortly after this picture, we brought the cake to Ingrid (whose been kidnapped by Icil to the bathroom) and we bought fireworks and confetti too :p

Although the surprise didn't end well, Ingrid told us that she's elated and so very happy (grammatically error, I know ahaha)

The food was pretty good and I had a fun time with Ilen, Regine, Icil and Devi since we joked all the time. I took some photos of the food and drinks but again, my memory card blew it :( UPDATE: I GOT THE PHOTOS! Yay!

The appetizer was tasty, but it was kinda hardened and cold
(I think it's because they were fried on like 5 PM, but then served to us on 7 PM) 

This is the main menu, Fettucini Carbonara!
I have always loved Carbonara! The bacon, the cream,  yum!
And that's why I think this carbonara is too creamy and less salty.
But still this dish is pretty yummy though :D

I might have took it personally, but on my birthday, my girlfriends gave me a pair of white-purple zebra pattern pumps! It's very lovely and I love purple, still the pattern...

So. I decided to do something fun about Ingrid's present. So there goes this RAWR platform shoe.

Icil's Precious Surprise and Dinner

Priscilla a.k.a Icil's birthday was on July 15th, and it was still holiday, so we came at her house and (intended to) give her a surprise.

Turns out she's been waiting and watching at us since we get off the car -______-

Anyway, we had a blast! Icil didn't struggle even a bit and she got completely wet ahaha :D

The water sprinkling session was epic, we ran here and there while Icil.. stood  still, content for whatever 's going happen to her :o

And then we realized that the Mario helium-balloon did not levitate anymore.
It's a pity because we just bought it like, one hour before, and the merchant promised --guaranteed, that the helium will levitate up to one week.

AND THEN HERE COMES THE DINNER NIGHT:

I'm the one with the gray dress. Yes, if you wonder what am I doing in Albert's (Regine's boyfriend) back, well, I was signing the photo we will give to Icil.

Icil wasn't supposed to know, so that's why :p

We gave her a surprise cake, and a surprise heels, and a surprise photograph signed  by all attendance of the dinner. The surprise was cracked (again) because Icil seemed to have eyes all over places :p

My thought of this day?
I was extremely happy.
The atmosphere, the people, all the jokes we made, all the happiness.
This night was my second best birthday party. The first was, of course, my own birthday.

Our last Saturday; Harry Potter, and the upcoming exams

So, last Saturday could possibly be our last happy Saturday coming this time, because we're facing our end-of-term exams; and it's ripping our souls away! (A little bit hyperbolic is a must!)

By the way, I got 87.5 on my last Biology test, such an another miraculous mark; I'm so touched, I want to cry :')

Last Saturday, Ingrid, Inke, Regine, Devi, Ilena, and me went to Sutos to watch Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows part 1! Whoa the movie itself was great and I cried a couple of times because some of the scenes are just touching. For your info I have finished the book long time ago because I'm in love with HP and that kind of book ;)

Ingrid wasn't suppose to hangout with us (she wanted to study, wow) but knowing us girls are gonna have some fun, she didn't wanna be left behind. Oh yeah, Icil was hospitalized for DB! Get better soon, Icil :*

Umm, I'm so sorry I rarely write here :(
This event had happened long long time ago and I just have the time to write it here NOW!

So, now I forget what was the problem, but I said something fun (but not fun to Ingrid), then the next thing I know, she was trying to tickle me on my neck. But as you know, anything Ingrid-like is always full of violent! (Haha, a little bit hyperbolic here); but this was what happened. She tried to tickle me, but she was just too strong! She ended up choking me! I was in pain, so I was screaming like an idiot in front of our crowded canteen. Nah, see?

I went to the school clinic and found this balm. It's called Counterpain and it's working well!

The worst part was I can't move my neck. It hurts when I turn my head. It hurts when I laugh. It even hurts when I nod! Oh my gosh I was tortured!

And this is what Ingrid wrote on her blog:

"But it's not like I tried to choke her, I was just trying to tickle her neck, since lots of people have that laughing nerves on their neck, and I knew that Yoan has it. So, apparently my tickling was too hard for her neck.Which results to the neck nerves snapping incident. Then she started to complain about the pain in her neck. I didn't know that it was serious. I though she was just joking or faking it, until she went to the school's clinic that afternoon. The funny part was, I actually prefer her like that, because she didn't move much, she's usually very active (hyperactive) and kinda annoy me with her "around-ness", haha. Still, I'm soooo sorry Yoan, wish you complete and instant recovery."

Things keep getting weirder and weirder, and the next thing I know is Ingrid had already lying on this cold, pale floor of the library. I don't know that we're allowed to lie here!
